For the best adventure travel experience, come to Malaysia. Located in the South East region of Asia, it is a country blessed with year long summer like season. As it is situated just above the equator, the temperature on a normal day would be around 29 to 35 degree Celcius.
Malaysia is a tropical climate country, which boasts of dense and lush tropical forest rich with biodiverse range of flora and fauna. Home to the largest and smelliest flower in the world, one can personally experience the sheer size and rotten smell of Rafflesia Arnoldii. The flower can grow up to 3 feet in diameter and feeds on insects and small animals that are attracted to its rotten meat smell. Other interesting flora and fauna that can be seen in Malaysia are the hornbill bird (bird which has cow-like horn), the endangered Green Turtle and the Durian fruit which is hailed as the king of fruits in Malaysia. It is really an ideal spot for hardcore adventure travel and here are some of the reasons why. There are areas in the Eastern region of the country (Malaysian Borneo) that are still unexplored. New species of plants, insects and animals are still being discovered in that part of the country. Hey, if you are lucky enough maybe you'll discover a new species and get to name it after yourself.
For those people who are the extreme adventure seeker it would be unthinkable not to check out the caves in Malaysia. The Niah Cave of Malaysia is a prehistorical site in which human remains dating back to 40,000 years ago were discovered. Deep inside the eerie dark cave of Niah, archeologists have also found paintings done by these prehistoric people depicting their ways of life. When you reached the mouth of the cave, looking at it from the outside is one thing, but to actually step inside it, is another. If you are a first time inexperience cave explorer, taking the first few steps into the cave can be a daunting task even for the most chivalry and macho man of all. But if you manage to overcome the fear of darkness and the unknown aspect of the cave, things will get a little bit easier. Once inside, travelers are rewarded by the oppurtunity to marvel on the intricate wall and land structure of the cave, the complex passages within, and alien-like insects. The best part of all is that, travelers are able to literally experience what it felt like to live in the cave as what prehistoric people did some 40,000 years ago.
Another cave that is worth exploring is the 'Nasib Baik' Cave
