How far is far enough?

I started running fifteen years ago and I'm still going strong.

Sitting here alone, thinking of the way it was.Under

Wishing it could be the same; That we could be close again.

But now

 I can see long stretches of seas and mountains that separated us for many years

And outstripped by

Distance

It drags us away

Take me to where you are

I spread my wings

Fly away

Reach for me

But these wings weaken

This distance

Somewhere amidst the ink on a map
