The number of women owned businesses has been increasing year after year. In fact, 41% of all privately owned businesses are owned at least 50% by a woman. When a woman dedicates herself to pursuing her dream, she will research the options available to her, and the best options can be found in the world of franchises. Franchises offer an appealing package, including a working business model, training and ongoing support. There are many reasons a woman may look to start her own business, and fortunately there are many franchises that are not only a great fit for women, but actually target women as owners.
One of the most common reasons for a woman to start her own business is for flexibility. In today's world, women's lives are hectic, with responsibilities at work, at home, with kids, their schools, extracurricular activities and more. Many franchises offer the ability to work either full time or part time. Not having to punch a time clock, means the women are free to be available to pick their children up from school, take part in their after school activities and be there for them when they are sick. Franchises such as SuperCoups, All Star Driver Education and Scenic Screens all offer the flexibility that so many women not only want, but also need.
Another factor that is a top priority for women when choosing a business is her passion to help others. Women strive to feel fulfilled in both their personal lives as well as their businesses. For those that love kids and want to provide better futures for them, they can realize their dreams with franchises such as FasTracKids Childcare or RightTime Kids, a drop-in childcare facility. Young Rembrandts is an art program that offers flexibility as the franchisee manages art instructors who teach valuable art education at after-school care facilities. For those that have a passion for helping others, franchises such as Accessible Home Health Care or Right at Home In Home Care and Assistance offer solid business models for a thriving market.
In today's economy, many women who were previously at home raising their family have found that they now need to bring in income to help support their families. Opening a franchise can be a great option, as there are many franchises that offer not only flexibility, but are also home-based. Franchises such as American Business Systems: Medical Billing and OxyMagic Carpet Cleaning are run from home offices and can be done either full time or part time, offering women the ability to still raise her family while also contributing.
With the number of women-owned franchises increasing rapidly, franchisors and brokers are creating specialized lists designed with the female entrepreneur in mind. Women seeking franchise opportunities can find targeted information at www.franchisesforwomen.com or at the franchise website www.americasbestfranchises.com /Womens-Franchise-Opportunitie s. With some research and a little soul-searching, the perfect fit can be found as the possibilities are endless.
