Roger the Crow sat on the branch in the biggest tree in the park. The sun shone through the leaves above his head, kids laughing on the playground below him. He love this life.
Everyday was the same for him, he would get up stand on the same branch and enjoy the park, his park it make him feel good about himself and the world. He couldn't leave his branch to go and get food because he fell out of a tree a few months ago, and sprain his wing, so his neighbour on a other tree flew off and got the food the kids left on the ground and give it to Roger.
He woke up one Thursday morning, he was awake but he didn't opening his eyes until he could start to hear the joy down below. Roger lay there for a few minutes, Nothing.
'How very strange' thought Roger, he must been up early then expected. He step out of his bird hole that was carve in to the tree. He step out on to the branch and began toh op all the way to the end and looked down below at the playground, Nothing. Roger seem a bit worry now, It can't been that early, because he looked towards the sun, it was only midday. Where was everyone. He looked towards his neighbour's tree.
His neighbour, Peter, was on his branch but he looked very upset. He could see Roger looking at him from the corner of his eye. Peter flew towards him.
Roger stare at Peter as he landing on his tree. Peter looked upset.
'Roger, the park is going.' Peter told him
'Don't be stupid, going where? Aboard.' Roger replied at him. Peter stare at him puzzled and laugh a bit.
'No, Roger, it's been demolished for a health spa, Today.' Peter said.
Fear struck Roger, his home would been gone. He stare at Peter and put on his serious face, even though he didn't know what to do.
'Never fear, I'll shall save us.' he told Peter in a deep voice trying to sound brave.
Peter put out his wing, to tell Roger to stop.
Roger stare at him and stood at the end of his branch and screech loud again and again. He stop after three times. He and Peter looked around the park for a while. After five minutes a rustling sound came from the distance, Roger looked towards where the sound was coming from. In the distance a big black cloud was coming at them. The cloud was getting closer and closer.
As it got closer, Peter notice it was a flock of crows, the crows went straight and landing on the floor. Peter glide down next to them.
Roger stare at his broken wing, and put it's out slowly and took a deep breath and step off his branch. He gliding down to join
