Is the recent increase in natural disasters God's judgement?

Yes

by Gary C. Gibson

For those of us who believe God is quite omnipotent and omniscient we have little recourse to the opinion that God's judgment is implicit in everything that exists including natural disasters.

God is omniscient and perhaps hasn't a need to make judgments regarding the temporal foreknowing everything as He does. The good news is that the Universe may be a correctional facility for the posterity of Adam and Eve's action's as human beings. God continuously must act to keep humanity on the straight and narrow because they are naturally more and more bent. I suppose humanity would like to blame anthropogenic global warming upon God too-it's there own domesticated cow flatus and SUV exhaust that are to blame.

Many questions human beings ask about God or qualities of God are drawn from a human paradigm comparison, epistemologically speaking. We humans have limited knowledge and God does not-His power is absolute in the sense of being infinite in all directions including actualization of the Universe and human existence and the interaction of the phenomena of life in the physical Universe.

The schedule of God since creating everything in eternity and permitting sentient beings to experience portions of that creation in a temporal sequence is what should be expected too. For some reasons known to God, the remedy for whatever lack of time and space deoptimalization of the potentials of being has been corrected . A theistic evolution of geologic events, climactic cycles and other of the more extreme oscillations of waveform actualization,s so far as the human range of comfort goes, includes such experiences that one might consider to be excessive- from a human point of view.

The underestimation of humanity regarding God's power is significant at all levels. At the level of human religions and what human religious content is regarding God and one another, it is interesting to compare the Muslim eschatological syncretism. Such articles of faith exist in the Mohamedanist canon as; Muslims will eventually meet in an ultimate battle against the Jews-it makes a mockery of the historical Middle East peace-for-land exchange that is as reaffirming to the fundamentalist Muslim goals of recapturing the city of Jerusalem while simultaneously roiling back Jewish territory in order to give the Mohammedanists an advanced line to attack from. Muslims also believe that Jesus Christ will return to vanquish the Jews (they couldn't be more wrong) and he will live just 40 days. In designing such religious juxtapositions antagonists God has brilliant created cross cultural movements orchestrated with sound and fury. Our Christian apocalyptic literature from Matthew and of course the book of the Revelation of John provides a very different account to that of the Mohammedanist heresy and the inside information that Christian are grafted in to the natural tree of the Jew.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the true way to God; and in that context Mohammedanism is a blasted heresy possibly working as a foundation for the anti-Christ. The play writing abilities of Shakespeare do not remotely equal the script of the world written by God, including that scenery with its aesthetic magnificence and wonder in its mysterious depths at the largest and smallest scales. How would any9one have guessed even 100 years ago that the smallest and largest scales of the Universe-what is beyond the edge of space-time at the largest and smallest, may meet in sub-Planck length membranes or super-strings resting upon and imponderable dimensional bubble of being related to the unknown? When God can reduce an entire Universe to a singularity it becomes even more appreciable that the entire singular foundation of existence is quite wonderful. We have tendency to accept its extended and actualized present size as the absolute yardstick of things including it's solidity as an appearance of material. Did God judge natural events and shake up humanity a little because of its proclivity for sin we ask? If he did it was a wonderfully fine-tuned correction set into the pre-foundations of the singularity before a single star was created. He knew what the Universe required-its moral as well as physical topology as a requirement for being. Like the Platonic realm of forms yet without need of models because the One is so complete, the things of this Universe are foreknown elsewhere, pre-existent elsewhere too, yet each and all in the same space and part of oneness given differentiation, interval and scalar field status with transitions.

It is difficult for human beings to accurately interpret God's will or judgment outside of general; parameters such that He wishes human beings to seek a relationship with Him and to conform to His nature as expressed in the Bible. Jesus Christ as the Son immersed Himself in the tempest of temporal 'slings and arrows' cognizant that outrageous fortune lay within and was a necessary course to overcome the evil of original and subsequent sin. He experienced the excesses of the world so far as pain and suffering go, which are the equivalent or worse to natural evils.

Mankind has already been judged and found wanting. Original sin is a ubiquitous fact of human life that is totally depraved for-itself. Mankind collectively and within its organizations pursues ends of personal egoism that when concatenated yield some very terrible accumulative anthropogenic climate change consequences. While the Obama administration plans to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions the next decade; presently world co2 emissions are about 29 billion tons annually-China and India plan to produce so much extra themselves that the world total will rise to 40 billion tons annually moving the world upward toward that total 1 trillion tons total historical human co2 release. Too few leaders think about more than money and power. The quest for personal egoist ends in political leadership produces bad environmental ends and mankind takes over the role of producing natural disasters recently itself to a limited extent. Mankind in making a little god of itself becomes it's own devil as well failing to insinuate itself into the environment without destroying or just disrupting it.

God has foreknown everything that would be, planned everything that was, and has already written everything that is to come. God is good..
