STOLEN MOMENTS
Feel the sun on your skin
Warm sand between your toes
As the tide rushes in
Removing stressful woes
All your cares seem far away
As you swim, giggle and play
You can work on your tan
Or build castles of sand
On this gorgeous day
Finally summer is here
You've waited all year
Now, it's time to relax
Away from your office,
Your phone and your fax
Time to put real life aside
And escape to this place
There are swimsuits to buy
Surfboards to ride
And jet-skis to race
The time is now
To enjoy these stolen moments
And try to make them last
For real life will soon return
And they will then fade all too fast
