Dreams Lost, Dreams Broken
I stare across the ocean wide and churning.
Feeling the warm caress of the breeze on my face.
Reminiscing about days gone by.
Days, when I thought I could fly.
When I was young, and the world was mine.
When I had no consideration for the passage of time.
My heart is heavy with the weight of
dreams broken, dreams shattered, dreams lost.
Oh, that the wind could carry me away, to that land
where dreams are made, where dreams come true.

Poetry: Broken dreams
Moving on should be so simple
But letting go is not as easy as it seems
It is harder than you would think
To say goodbye
When we met, I had so many dreams
If I printed them on paper, they would take up reams
But as you started to control me

The deepest wounds

inflicted by angry voices,
making victims miserable.
Words hurled with rage,
breaking
I saw her falling
From such an unfathomable height
Gravity showed her no mercy
As her body plummeted to it's demise
Yet

Achievements of lives dreamt, disappointment of broken dreams
Enter into this existence facing the wilderness
