Dreams Lost, Dreams Broken
I stare across the ocean wide and churning.
Feeling the warm caress of the breeze on my face.
Reminiscing about days gone by.
Days, when I thought I could fly.
When I was young, and the world was mine.
When I had no consideration for the passage of time.
My heart is heavy with the weight of
dreams broken, dreams shattered, dreams lost.
Oh, that the wind could carry me away, to that land
where dreams are made, where dreams come true.
