Wichita Kansas was rated number 1 friendliest city in America, in list of top 25 by Peter Greenberg and NBC. Greenberg, traveling editor for NBC's Today show, thinks so. He was hired to travel the nation looking for the top 25 cities that best, "embodied America's core values", based on nine categories:hospitality, wholesomeness, family-friendliness, business-friendliness, devotion to religion, culture, community activities, scenic beauty, and education. He rated each category on a scale, 1 (low) to 10 (high).

Wichita was ranked #1 friendliest city in America - according to Greenberg and NBC Wichita was ranked #1 strongest real estate market in the United States - according to Verso Software Wichita was ranked #2 best city for jobs - according to Forbes

Wichita has a lot to offer, with over 100 parks, the Sedgwick County Zoo (which was ranked#1 tourist attraction in Kansas), Great Plains Nature Center, the Art Museum, historic old town, Cow Town, Exploration Place, and incredible mom and pop coffee shops spread through out, there is no wonder why Peter Greenberg ranked Wichita #1.

What if you have no money for the zoo or the museum? Throughout the summer many families migrate to Wichita to shop and spend time with relatives, and during the months of summer it is easy to run out of cash, but that's OK, because there is a lot to do in Kaunas's big city, that cost nothing at all.

Take a stroll through old town, see the side walk shops Walk the wildlife trails at the Great Plains Nature Center, a perfect place for a picnic or a place to take photos of amazing nature scenes Visit the Indian Center and see the Keeper of the Plains Have a picnic at a different park, everyday, if you want, there are so many to choose from. Some with boat rides, horse rides, water fountains for kids to play in, and artistic structures Visit one of Wichita's libraries; there's always things happening for kids and adults Take a walk on the river.

Wichita is a city of art and culture. It is a city that thrives on social interaction, social networking, and social and cultural diversity. There is something for everyone, and many things for the whole family. With Wichita State University it is easy to find many college students both from all over the U.S. and a wide range of foreign, international students. The Kansas farmers bring a mid-west flavor to the city that and many good ol' home-cooking-style cafes. The art, literary, and music culture in Wichita is evident everywhere. Wichita loves the arts.

With so many options for fun recreational activities, concerts, art shows, and just getting to spend time with some of the friendliest people in the nation, there's no reason that anyone should have a problem finding more than enough when visiting Wichita Ks.
