DEEPER DEPTHS
I look upon this path I've made
The hole in which I've fell
I sink, no matter how I've prayed
To deeper depths of hell
It's as I'm lying drenched in blood
Yet no one cares to see
Emotions overflow and flood
I'm never truly free
The world turns, I stand and stare
But no one lets me in
If just one person showed they care
The healing could begin
This agony is all too real
My will begins to fade
No matter how much pain I feel
The price is never paid
To live a life that knows some joy
A world without hurt
I'm like an old abandoned toy
Forgotten in the dirt
And so I try to carry on
I know no other way
Forget about what's lost and gone
Get through another day

and I can't get enough.

Heart of Darkness
Here,
In the blackest depths of nowhere,
Where nothing meets naught,
I have come to sit a while
To study silence.
