The morning sun shown through the cracks of the paper blinds that covered the windows in their tiny bedroom. Trying to pull the pillow over her face she wanted just a few more minutes of sleep before the war of fun begun. Why did fun have to be so much trouble? Finally giving into the day she rolled off the bed and headed to the bathroom. One look in the mirror and she just stuck her tongue out and wondered how she was going to get that mess under control. She wanted to have this outing with her family, but early mornings were not one of any of their things at all. But if they waited to long the lines would be so long it would not be worth the trip. They need the day out, a day to just spend with their family, no work and to get away from home. A bonding time, the kids were getting older and who knew how many time they would have like this. So she wanted to take it why they still have the chance.
She dabbed on some hair gel to the ratted up locks of ultra tight black curls and slowly got them under some form or a dew. Then brushed her teeth, tossed on some makeup and got dressed. No came the hard part. She had to get her partner in crime and the heathen's up and ready to go. She went over to the bed and tapped him lightly. Then she pounced on him until he surrender and bounded for the shower. She watched as his lily white form strutted across the room, seeing his muscular form stretch as he grab some fresh clothes was her favorite part. After all these years she still got tingles just to watch him getting ready for his shower, she would join him but it would put them way behind schedule. Once the water was running, she was off to the other rooms.
She started with her son, who over the last year had over grew her by a foot and was only 13 yrs old. She rolled him all over the bed until he finally had enough and got up, only to toss on the same clothes that were laying on the floor. In her daughters room she could hear the snoring before she opened the door. All that from the late night phone calls from her boyfriend, when she was supposed to be asleep. So the gentle wake up did not work, so she had to move to plan B. Take all the covers and leave her there shivering until she was so mad that she was awake and ready for the day.
So with both teenagers up and getting ready and the partner in the shower she went down to get a quickie breakfast ready. As she was preparing that she was packing a picnic lunch as well. Today was going to be family day. They were going
