Tucked away in the Caribbean is an island most Americans know of but seldom visit, Puerto Rico. Most people know where Puerto Rico is and that it is a territory of the United States constantly voting on if it should be come a state or not, but something they don't know is that it has some of the most romantic vacation spots a couple could ask for.

Of these spots, one of the most inviting is Rincon which is nestled along the northwestern side of the island and is famous for its surfing and white, sandy beaches.

RINCON FITS ANY BUDGET

Rincon has a lot to offer both the budget couple and those that like to spend a good deal of money on their romantic getaway. The unparalleled sunsets and beautiful beaches that lie along the seaward boundary of the town can be seen from budget hotels, private villas, and luxury resorts.

LUXURY RESORTS

Of the luxury resorts, the most inviting and eye-pleasing is the Rincon Beach Resort (http://www.rinconbeach.com/). According to the I Love Rincon website the Rincon Beach Resort one of the most unique and interesting hotels in Puerto Rico. It is an intimate, beach front resort hotel located at Almirante Beach and boasts elegant rooms, a private beach and pool, restaurant with sunset terraces, and many other amenities that will keep the romance seeking couple staring into each others eyes.

Other luxury hotels in the area include the Horned Dorset Primavera, Rincon of the Seas Grand Caribbean Hotel, and the Villa Cofresi. If luxury hotels are to pricey for you but you still want to experience the "love in the air" that Rincon will provide, there are some budget hotels that will allow you to partake in the wonders of this resort town.

BUDGET HOTELS AND VILLAS

Some good budget hotels that still offer pool and beach access include the Rincon Inn where you can experience everything Rincon has to offer without having to pay the high prices of the luxury resorts.

If I had to choose a way to experience Rincon, I would stay away from the luxury resorts and the budget hotels and put up the money for a private villa on the beach. My wife and I got married and had the first half of our honeymoon at the Sunset Paradise Villas (http://www.sunsetparadise.com/ ) which I HIGHLY recommend.

THE DRAW OF A VILLA

The draw of a villa is that you have your own private hideaway along the beach where you don't have to be worried that housekeepers will interrupt your alone time or loud slamming doors from other guests will wake you up from your naked afternoon nap. Villas will allow you to create your own romantic meals without the annoyance of other diners and slow waiters. The villa experience is one that any romantic vacation seeker has to try!

If making your meals isn't your thing there are many romantic restaraunts along the beach to allow you to reconnect with your loved one. The Villa Cofresi has by far the best surf and turf in Rincon and offers an atmosphere that will get the love juices flowing. My wife and I had our wedding reception here and it easily accommodates large parties without interfering with the ambiance of romance seekers outside or in separate dining areas.

So if you want to travel on a budget or throw money to the wind, then let Rincon, Puerto Rico be your destination for your next romantic vacation. I promise you, you will not be disappointed and for you men out there, your female friend will thank you over and over again for picking such an amazing place to go.
