Living a simple life

We make life by living. Life is simple. To some, life can be very complicated. With all the twists and turns it offers us, we might say that life is a bit complex.

Is it possible for us to live a simple normal life despite its complications? Despite all those things that has been happening around you, will you still be able to cope up with the changes and to just go with its flow? Will the complexities of life create an impact on how we deal with it?

A lot of questions have been running in my mind regarding those different ways on how each of us deal with life. We can live life in a simple way or we can make it complicated. It really depends on us. We have our own choices. It is really up to us on how we want to turn things out.

A simple would involve simple things too. Living life one day at a time and enjoying what you possess and what has been given and provided for you is another way of living life simply and living it to the fullest. People always have the tendency to want more or to acquire more. They want bigger houses, nice and expensive cars and just anything they could buy for money. That is why people would always want power and material wealth, for them to be able to get what they wanted and desire. This is human nature. What some of us didn't know is that, wanting these things can create issues and problems which could have been avoided. We do not need a lot of material things. Yes we have our necessities in life but beyond those are already superficial wants. Wants are simply wants, meaning we are not dependent on them for us to be able to survive. Our purpose here is not to accumulate things but to enjoy what is given to us. And trust me, the things that can make us happy are those things which are free and are ready available anytime. The air we breathe, our friends, our loved ones and love itself. These things are not available in the market. They are freely given to each one of us. So what are we still looking for? Happiness is just in within our grasps. There really is no need for us to want so much more because most of the time, wanting more can make us unhappy. It can make us feel empty. We should learn to value things we have. Things that are more important than they seem. These are the things that we should be taking care of, instead of wasting our time on those things that are of less importance.

Let us learn to live our life simply each and everyday. Take things one at a time. As much as possible, let us not try to desire things that are just not meant for us and those things that are impossible to attain. Desiring too much material things makes life more complicated than it should be. Life is simple. It is how the way we live it that makes it complicated.
