Today many people simply go through the motions of every day life. They are uninspired, unmotivated, and just pass the time with no real zest for living. They are simply bodies on a treadmill. Life was meant to be more fulfilling than this, however. Humans were created to enjoy and really live their lives to the fullest. In order to achieve this feat we must reengage our spirits. Humans are not just physical bodies; we are spirits that are connected to and created by God. The spiritual soul is the foundation and core of our existence. In order to reunite with this part of ourselves, however, we must first begin to understand our creator Himself, in whose image we have been made.
1. God Is.
Simply put, God is. He exists. Regardless of your particular religious beliefs, you must succumb to the notion that there is a God. Without this belief, you are unable to connect not only to His spirit, but also your own. You must realize that there is more to living than simply being alive.

I want the best for her; although I know she will have trials in her life. This is the way that God loves us. He wants us to be happy, find our purpose, and enjoy the gift of life He has given us. He loves us more than we could ever imagine.
3. God Doesn't Hold a Grudge.
For many years, I felt as if I were being punished by God. I have been taught that when you ask God for forgiveness, He forgives without question. In my life however, I was holding on to guilt and self-resentment over things I had done in the past. While I believed that God had forgiven me, I didn't truly feel free from the guilt. I even went as far as telling someone that I had been cursed by God. Two days later, I was listening to a pastor give a sermon about forgiveness. He then pointed right at me and sternly said, "YOU ARE NOT CURSED!" I almost fell out of my chair. I knew without a doubt that this message was meant for me. I realized that I couldn't truly believe in God's forgiveness, if I felt unforgiven myself. In that moment, a weight lifted and instantly
