A guide to recycling in Raleigh, NC

Cary is my home yet Raleigh, NC is my second home since I travel there daily and own a Raleigh based business. When it comes to recycling, Raleigh is a great place to find recycling options.

The Raleigh Recycling Center has seven options available, wood, glass, electronics, plastics, bottles, core metal, specific rod recycling, and a location to take your car battery for recycling. Cary, NC does not have these options which makes Raleigh one of the best places to recycle.

For non-residents, a roster and a licence may be required if they accept your trash items. For residents the Raleigh Recycling Center is a fast establishment with no waiting time on background checks. Something to know for non-residents and residents.

Raleigh, North Carolina has just passed a new law requiring a small fee that may be implied if passed. For waste desposal it costs the city a pretty penny. Although the new fee will help the city of Raleigh maintain all the business-as-usual they can see through without creating a larger deficit to North Carolina to dig themselves out of.

The Raleigh Recycling Center is located near Poole Road in Raleigh, just down the road from Capital Blvd., one of the largest roads in the center of Raleigh to follow or travel on. You can't miss it! Once you are on Capital Blvd. follow it to Poole Road. There you will see a large clearing that is the entrance to this facility.

Cary, NC has a smaller recycling center that bears the same treatment by the kind staff and helpful employees. There they help you lift heavy objects to place into the large bins or containers for recycling. Again, non-residents are subject to turn away in Cary's recycling center since they reserve the right to honor their citizens.

Recycling is important to keep Raleigh in a clean environment and to help mother earth remain healthy for generations to come. Schools have recycling programs that conjoin the Raleigh Recycling Center such as tours and special drop off locations where the trash men can transport items to the Raleigh Recycling Center rather than have a person do it themselves. It's easy for everyone but you have to contact the Raleigh Recycling Center to see where they actually do have any pick-up locations.

Since laws have changed in the recent years, calling the Raleigh Recycling Center is best to gather all the updated changes that have occurred. With this said, you should be able to find out the latest info on Raleigh Recycling Center.

All in all, the Raleigh Recycling Center is the place to recycling, the best options to recycling that Raleigh has to share.
