My feeble mind cannot comprehend,
Neither can it disregard,
The love of my dear creator,
And the severity of his wrath,
Love radiates from him,
As he lifts up those in need,
Yet judgment and curses,
On those who dare defy,
Inconsistency? I dare say no,
Just the many facets,
Who are we to judge the one,
Who with one word could create and destroy,
The mystery is what sets Him apart,
But we can know Him to some degree,
Only what he allows us to,
Which is even harder to understand,
I will not try to make sense of it,
For to figure out God, is to be God,
And I for one know my boundaries,
And am perfectly content being ignorant.

Before the trees produced fruits and the birds began to sing,
God toiled
