Feeling the desperation,
to be needed... to feel,
the lonliness eats at her limbs.
Her voice weakened
her heartbeats are shallow,
as she lets him in once again.
Opening herself as a whole
offering her soul,
showing her secrets- her fears
sharing the pieces she hides way down deep....
Telling herself it'll be different
she starts to believe the lies.
Trust finds its way in too... slowly.
False trust, false hope... and he is gone.
She blindfolds herself
and takes another's hand.
With one foot in front of the other
she moves forward... only to fall again.
Impaling herself on another illusion
chasing the body of a hologram...
she crumples to the ground in agony.
Desperation has overcome her
no fight is left inside
her breaths are shallow... she will never win.
None will fight for her now.
She is alone again until the next attack.
No hand left there to hold.
No smile to warm the cold air.
No arms to scoop her up where she fell...
Bleeding now and crippled
she's useless... inferior,
as she buries her face in the dirt.
Marring any beauty that once was there
her tears pool and stream.
Lifting her head to the crowds around her
invisible... alone.... half dead.
One eye beholds her pathetic face
and kneels down beside her...
wiping away the mud and tears.
But alas, another holds his hand
and unknowingly his heart.
He offers her all but feeling....
every ecstasy of bodily form
creating delusions of love in her head,
giving all to her but his heart.
He does this for as long as she lets him,
while shutting her out of his mind...
She is but a body and mouth to him,
barely listening when she pours out her heart.
Tearing herself wide open
and ripping out every last part...
she feels every bone in her body crumble.
She knows now that she has been blind.
Frustration is eating her soul now...
like acid, with bubbles and smoke.
She pushes as hard as she can to retreat,
But it's too late... he's already in.
