I wonder if todays' Hall of Fame voters are missing the MAIN ingredient? Has the candidate been a dominant player during his career? Has that player enjoyed a career of at least 10 years? Has that candidate led his team to victory by his leadership? Has he stood out among his peers as a force?

THIS is what I want to know. I must be slightly old school, with a yearning for high tech equipment in that old school. I understand the recent controversy of late but...let's not get TOO caught up in the "Political Correct" society we have become. Unless the player is an outright degenerate, his "values" have little use to me.

For THAT reason Pete Rose is a Hall of Famer! It is time for Pete Rose to be in the Hall of Fame, simple as that.

But...since I am NO fan of Bud "I canceled a World Series" Selig, I guess this election will unfortunately have to wait. When Pete Rose is eligible to be voted on....I hope the voters think about his IMPACT on Baseball as a player.
