There are so many ways that people will tell you that you will know it is true love. Like do you blush when he walks your way? Do you shiver when his body just lightly touches yours? Do you lose your breath when he holds your hand? Those are all great feelings and yes we all love them so much. We hope they never go away, but the do only to be replaced with more intense feelings. I guess you could say more grown up feelings, but feelings are only a part of true love. Actions are what really speaks of true love, even if you do not see it at the time.

There are so many actions that we over look or take for granted. It's only when that person is gone that you realise what you were to blind to see. Or you see that person with someone else after you broke up, doing the same thing that they did for you and missing it so much you could scream. This is something that the greatest love stories do not tell you. You only see the basics like, lovemaking, gifts, romance, phone calls and the felling of happiness.

The movies, books, parents, teachers, or even your friends do not tell you what the real meaning of true love is. The real actions that overwhelm the scents so much that your mind is not capable of comprehending just how much them mean. Some actions may seem even grotesque at the time, but when you sit down to analyze them it only comes out to true love.

Do you have children when the other person comes into your life? Does that person try so hard to show them what a great person they can be? Do they take from theirself and give to your kids? Or do they plan dates that include your kids so it can be a family outing? When you do have time alone is it all about sex? Or do they just want to hold you and talk about the future you both want to have. These are signs of true love.

When they come over to visit and have dinner at your home do they bring a bone for your dog that you love so much? That shows that they do feel all parts of your life not only the family, but also your canine love as well. If you are put in the hospital for whatever reason do they take the days off to sit by your side? Even though they can not do anything at all, but do they do it just to show you they really want to be in your life at all expects.

With the IV in your arm and the nurse just gave you something to help settle you down a bit. So you are beginning to feel the effects of the drugs making you seem a little woozy. Then that same nurse comes in with a little plastic cup and tells you that she needs a sample. Not later when the drugs have worn off, but now. So your partner walks you into the bathroom to make sure you do not fall and you try to fill the cup. You do, but while doing so mess up yourself and the floor. So your partner takes paper towels and cleans you up and then cleans up the floor.

For a person to take the time and have to stomach to clean you up and your mess that is true love. They are willing to take from themselves and give you something that no one else will. They would even tell there friends because they have no shame in showing they have that much love for you. If their friends do not understand it, then they will never be on that level with a partner of their own. So that is what true love is and not just a flash in the pan.
