The city of Wichita, Kansas has plenty of romantic and fun activities to enjoy, and impress, on a first date. From great and unique restaurants to nature trails and museums, you can find something to suit your taste for a fabulous night, or day, out with that special someone.

River City Brewing Company

River City Brewing Company has been around since 1993, and has gained an excellent reputation as being one of the hottest hang-out spots in all of Wichita. The beers are phenomenal, and there are even dart boards and pool tables to keep you entertained.

Above the restaurant and brewery there is a great hang-out spot called Loft 150, which has an open-air patio where you can go to relax and unwind with your date. River City Brewing Company and Loft 150 are located on 150 North Mosley Street in the heart of Wichita.

Starlite Drive-In

Drive-In movie theaters are historically romantic and the perfect place for a date in Wichita, Kansas.

The Starlite Drive-In offers double or triple features. Unlike traditional drive-in theaters, you don't have to stay in your car, you can opt to bring a few comfy lawn chairs and enjoy the starry sky along with each other's company. It could also be a nice setting for that first date kiss. Wink, wink.

Botanica, The Wichita Gardens

A spectacular garden complex blooming with thousands of flowers both native and new.

The Murdock Street Entrance Garden, Project Beauty Shakespearean Garden and Jessie Wooldridge Brosius Rose Garden offer views of bountiful herbs and flowers growing in a magical garden filled with color and light.

The Butterfly Garden provides a bench for peaceful contemplation and an opportunity for a pleasant moment together.

Campbell Castle

Cattle baron Burton Harvey Campbell constructed this replica of a Scottish castle and assembled numerous European structural antiques -stained glass, fireplaces, fretwork, staircase, give this landmark showplace its unique ambiance. What date is complete without a visit to a valiant castle?

Wichita Center for the Arts

A trip to Wichita's oldest visual and performing arts center would be a great finish to a fun-filled date. Many theater shows are available throughout the year such as "The Glider". Make sure to visit the Gallery for wild and unique exhibitions.

You can't go wrong in Wichita when it comes to showing a lady a good time. Plan ahead or be spontaneous. Either way, there are plenty of exciting and unique experiences around every corner. Show her a good enough time and you might want to start looking for wedding venues for the future...
