The Dominican Republic known for its friendly Spanish speaking inhabitants; the island of Hispaniola (Espaola) is shared with its neighbor Haiti to the west with the Dominican Republic to the east it is 48,730 sq km (18,815 sq mi). Have your passport ready? For today we are planning to take a flight from our neighboring airport to the Dominican Republic, that lovely side of the island.
Prepare for an exquisite vacation; our destination is Punta Cana International Airport; once there we will take a short walk to the car rental station (1-809-686-2861), a few reminders before renting a car, things that you need to know; bring a valid driver license, a second form a of identification and a credit card with your authorization signature.
From the airport it is 32 km (20 miles) just a 25 minute drive to Punta Cana and its beach front Mediterranean inspired five star hotels that run along palmed tree, and glazed white sandy beach line to the tip of blue clear Caribbean ocean warm water, spreading across 420,000 m2 (approximately 1,100 acres), is breath taking. Awaken to a porch setting facing the Atlantic Caribbean Ocean. The breeze will give you a feeling of comforting emnracing warmth, while enjoying a fresh tropical fruit breakfast. That is strongly influenced by Taino Indians, Spaniards and Africa.

Continue into the night to the native beat and dance the popular form in the Dominican Republic dance is called Merengue (pronounced Mr-n-g).
