Wilted Rose
Such a Little Price To Pay
For a pretty little rose
Strangled & Beaten
But nobody needs to know
Its all a big secret
They dont even suspect it
Weve gotten away with it so easy baby
Hit me again
Dont regret it
My make-up hides the pain
The beautiful little bruises
Cries dont even escape anymore
Ive excepted my fate
Im doomed forever to pay the price
Of pain for being your last resort
No hard feelings
Im not any better than this
You said so Yourself
Im nothing
Nothing
nothing in your eyes
Strangled and Beaten
Im nothing
NOTHING
Just born to say goodbye
Such a Big Price To Pay
For a Wilted Little Rose

A Recollection of Childhood, Physical Abuse
Little eyes watch from afar.
Through the foggy window, of the car.

WHY DON'T YOU RUN?
I have seen our bruises
I heard your cries
But you stay for more
Why don't you run?
You hide the bruises

Wilted Rose
Such a Little Price To Pay
For a pretty little rose
Strangled & Beaten
But nobody needs to know
Its
Shaken Still
I sit here on shore
by my sea of regret
drowning in memories
I'd die to forget
Passing out life-lines
to me back
