Little ways to earn extra income

5 ways to earn extra income

The prices of food, gas, and clothing are all going up. Everything but your salary seems to be going up. It's easy to see why people are looking for ways to earn extra income these days. Why just a little and what do you want it for?

Why just a little income, and not lots?

Everyone has busy lives. Some people work long weeks for their day job, others chase their children around, while others have to look after ailing relatives. Life has a way to using up your free time before you know it. To make big money, it takes a solid investment of time. But making a little extra money can easily be done here and there 10 minutes at a time. Before you know it, that little money can really add up. Even if you only make $5 more per day, if you do that 5 days a week for a whole year that will add up to $1300! How hard is it to make $5 a day? Or $10? Or $15?

Why do you want to earn a little more money?

There are lots of things people spend money on; probably even more ways than there are to earn that money! Some people want to buy things they enjoy but don't really need, such as their morning coffee and paper every day. Some people will use that money to start a savings account with savings they never had. Or the money might go to feed starving children in a third world country. No matter what you do with it, it's your money, you earned it, and you have the right to spend it how you like. After you give the taxman his share, of course.

And over time, once you have lots of articles written, that will turn into $12.50 a day! That's over $3200 a year! It all comes down to how long it takes you to write those articles, and how much time you can spend on it. It also depends on how a writer you are and it helps to pick popular titles as well. The best part is you only need to commit to 10-20 minutes a day to write an article, less if you are really good! And none of this mentions the ad revenue sharing for your articles!

#2 - Knit or crochet items to sell

Everyone has an aunt or grandmother who was always working on a yarn project of some kind - mitts in the winter, or sweaters and baby sets in the summer. Or maybe an afghan for the cottage. These activities are not only relaxing, but you can sell those finished projects for
