If God doesn't make mistakes, why are we always trying to fix our flaws?

This question, "If God doesn't make mistakes, why are we always trying to fix our flaws?", implies to me that the opinion of the one asking this question thinks or believes that "God did make a mistake in the creation of man when he made us imperfect". When in fact God made us imperfect, and gave us a free will to live our lives as we see fit; yet with the hopes that we will follow him and his teachings. And yes, by following him, that means that we would make a conscious effort to fix our flaws or short-comings.

Our journey in life is full of experiences. Some small, minor, and quick to learn from or even to change. And others which we may struggle to overcome, yet through determination, and diligent action, we eventually find a way. And of course there are many experiences which may cause a conflict in our life due to personal weaknesses which we may carry with us throughout our life.

Some of us are quite aware of our weaknesses or temptations in life, and make an effort to keep a healthy balance because of it. To keep from falling per se. We keep a close relationship with God or a higher power which helps us maintain that balance in life. Some go to church, some meditate on a regular basis, some turn to nature as a source of connecting with the Holy Spirit. And some of course due all the above. And of course there are many different religions in our world that is practiced as a way for each individual to find their way through life. And for each individual, which ever religion it is that they practice, that is what is right for them.

Unfortunately, there are many who go through life without the awareness of the short-comings they carry with them. And for those individuals, they continue to struggle in life through many different experiences. They often times feel as though they are dealt a short hand in life, and that the world owes them. Many of these people make no effort to help themselves, let alone being a blessing to others.

In short, no there is no graduation period in life when we find ourselves flawless, regardless of our devotion to God or efforts to change ourselves for the better. Because all humans are imperfect, we will continue to find new experiences which will bring us a need to change, or simply learn a new lesson in life. But the beauty of this life is that we do have a free will, and with every effort to be the best person we can possibly be, and to bless others as well as ourselves. And that my friend is what life is all about!
