Depleting one's expenses may sound like an enormously hard task to withhold, but once it has been integrated into a daily lifestyle, is extremely simple to withhold. Without realising what we are doing; we dissipate money in products that we are not even aware of, some may be less obvious than others, but in the long term still could save you quite a lot of money. We make reducing expenses seem like a chore, but you can trim down on your expenses without living a deprived version of your current lifestyle.
1. Gas, Electricity and Heating Bills
This is the main source of where our money seems to go without one even realising it. Here are tips on how to reduce the bill;
- Use energy efficient light bulbs, these last much longer than the regular bulbs and can save up 60% more energy.
- Turn heating down by 2 -3 degrees.
- Wash clothes on 30 degrees.
- When replacing household items, purchase energy efficient appliances.
- Open curtains to let natural light filter through and only close them when there is no sunlight. Make sure that you do not turn on the lights or bulbs when there is no need for them.
- Turn off the lights when you leave a room.
- Insulate your loft and walls.
- When replacing windows, make sure you go for double glazing energy efficient windows.
You may currently not be aware that you might just be paying a high price for your bills, so compare different services in your local area which will enable you to get more energy efficient supplier and a cheaper one at that.

- Satellite boxes
- Microwaves
- Internet modem during the night

- Land line
- Broadband
- Car insurance
- Home insurance
Fortunately for insurance and phone companies we tend to be very loyal to our suppliers until we've had enough of them increasing the bill. There is definitely a cheaper, better offer out there than the one you are getting now since there are
