Peyton's performance in the AFC title game showed that Peyton is indeed still Peyton. He engineered a comeback in his own style. He threw for over 300 yards.
I was sitting in class and it upset me to hear the geers from non-Colts fans. Constant Peyton still stinks and so on and so forth. The only number they were looking at was is one touchdown in the AFC title game.
When I watched the game, I saw a brilliant quarterback drive down the field numerous times to overcome his nemesis. The reason that he didn't throw for more touchdowns was that his runningbacks ran the ball in every other time.
The Colts would have never been in that position if it weren't for Peyton and his poise in the playoffs. Yes, I said poise. If Peyton were to take that same poise and confidence into the Superbowl, who knows what might happen.
