Religions get it wrong. Baptists, Methodists, Catholics, Jews, Muslims, and all other religions are man's way to search for and sometimes even define God. They do not agree on a lot of things, and often new religions come from such divisions. Religion is an umbrella that covers personal beliefs based on a religious book or leader's ideals.
No religion has it right, and if they get it right, the people will not follow it. They cannot follow it. Is it possible to have a religion and not believe that it is the right way? If you believe your religion is one way to God, but you also believe that another religion may also be a way to God, both religions will be worshipping a different God. In that case there would be one way to one god and another way to another god. If they have different beliefs as to how to get to God, then somewhere along the way those religions believe that God is the one that is wrong. There can be no God if He doesn't have a single way to get to Him. If God has a plan, and the plan is to have a human sacrifice who will come to save whosoever will believe in Him, then that God cannot also say that you can come to me by believing in another god. If there is a God, He will have an absolute plan, and it will be right.

If God says He is the Creator of all things, He will not agree that He did not create all things. If God provides His word for mankind, to communicate with them, He will not send contradicting Words, and says that they are both right. He would be a liar. If God has given man other gods to worship, and if it is OK to worship them, then He is not God at all.
Muslims believe their religion is the only true one. Jews believe their religion is the only true one. Christians believe their religion is the only true one. If believing that anyone's religion is the only true one is a lie, then, they are all a lie.
What has happened is that man has focused on religion, and it is religion that actually causes separation from God. As mentioned above, religion is man's search for God, but the very thing that is brought to life by faith is a man's relationship with God. God has boundaries, standards, and ways that are far above man. His boundaries and ways and standards are perfect, and do not contradict each other. A relationship with God will only work if it is according to His standards. Man cannot successfully
