"You are beautiful no matter what they say..." This famous line taken from a song holds true to me.
No one is ever the same as someone else. We are all created uniquely. And each of us is especial in the eyes of our creator, no matter how different our physical appearances and our behavior.
Since we are all created different from each other, we should not expect to find someone exactly like us. There may be a possibility that in some aspects we are the same but our entirety as a human being is still different. Some people are created with physical defects. They differ from a normal person in the physical aspect but still the same they are God's creation thus they should be treated as our equal. No one should consider himself as superior. We should just consider ourselves lucky since unlike them, we have all the capabilities to do all things the normal way. Those people who seem to be imperfect in appearance should be accepted as who they are. They are never a nuisance in the society. In fact some of them are very very talented. Some can make beautiful arts just by using their feet or mouth, and a normal person can not equal those talents. They are one of a kind and we should be proud of them. Instead of judging them, why don't we help develop them and their talents for good. They can all be great contributors in the future for the betterment of the world.
There are also people who are normal in appearance, yet their actions are a bit above normal. They have their own world and they can't interact normally with situations in accordance with our norms. They are special in a kind of way. What we can do is help them in every way we can and give them love. They are special, thus they should be given special attention as well. We should not give up on them. They are still human beings and they need love, attention and understanding. Again, we are lucky to be normal so let us do what we can to help these kind of people instead of just abandoning them.
Those people who have been judged by the society needs our acceptance too. They may have done something wrong at one point in their lives, yet it doesn't make them less than what they are as a human person. And it is wrong for us to judge these kind of people. Instead we should be extending our support and help so that they'll be able to go on without feeling bitter. They may have been wrong but they always have the chance to correct their mistakes and be better.
Accepting people for who they are is a challenge for all of us. It is not easy to accept the personality of an individual especially if it deviates with our beliefs. Yet there lies the challenge. Let us learn to love one another despite our imperfections. As a whole, we are all perfect in HIS eyes, no exemptions.
