Poetry: Happiness

I know that I should probably let you go, but...
let me just say for now that,
If I am lucky enough to have you at all one day,
I will always find ways to surprise you from time to time,
make you laugh at least once a day,
be my own, let you be, and make you feel,
how unique,
you are to me,
now and ever.
Because, since I met you,
my happiness is not a noun, but a verb
