After what it seems like a decade on my hair, I finally found a product that not only nourishes it but makes it look fantastic after using the hair straightener. Being in another state with not enough money to get my hair done professionally, I invested in a hair straightener and a couple of products that I thought would be great on my hair. Found out after a month of using the straightener on a weekly basis that I was going to need something else to combat the dry and closely being damaged hair. I looked on-line for shampoo and conditioner products that would help with dry or damaged hair. After reading a couple of reviews on Herbal Essences' "Hello Hydration", I decide to give it a try and bought it at a local drug store.

The moment after I lathered the first scoop of shampoo and rinsed, I immediately felt a difference. My hair felt softer and more refreshed than from the previous brand I had. The second lather and rinse proved to feel a little bit more different than the first shampoo, but either way I was glad that I was already feeling the difference. The conditioner smelled good, and after leaving it on for 3 minutes or so, I rinsed and immediately felt my hair nice and softer.

A bit of warning though, after I dried off my hair I noticed it was much frizzier than usual. Luckily for me, I still had some leave-in conditioner so I applied that through my hair. The leave-in conditioner helped tame most of the frizz, but there were still some left over frizz areas. The frizz can be troubling when straightening hair.

The real surprise came while I was straightening my hair. Usually, I use Tresseme's Heat Tamer spray which works wonders, but after using the "Hello Hydration" brand by herbal essences, after straightening my hair looked amazing! The strands were much softer and less oily. Also, my hair had a bit of shine. After straightening my hair with the other brands, my hair came out dry and brittle. With Herbal Essence, my strands and ends are not as brittle and my hair not as dry. It actually feels nice and smooth. A week later, my hair still looks great, almost as if it was done professionally.

If you want a great product that not only moisturizes your hair but shines it too, then definitely give "Hello Hydration" a try. It leaves your hair feeling nourished and pretty. If used correctly with a hair straightener, then your hair will look as if you went to a salon. It's not only a great investment, but a great reliable product.
