Its pages tattered and torn, I ventured to its depths.
I journeyed along its empty roads, its treasures close I kept.
The moonlit nights, the passion, the kisses that we dared;
Were chapters from a storybook that few can ever share.
Two hearts aflame, with souls entwined, love paved a golden road.

No army would penetrate the fortress that our love had ardently built,
No room for hatred or ridicule, as our chambers were adequately filled.
But fairy tales are make believe and dreams don't last forever.

The princess lost her golden crown and the prince has lost his way;
And there will be no happy ending to this tale of yesterday.

Breathes incinerated air.
Stumbling through her
