Poetry: Life or death

by Terrell Newbill

Created on: May 23, 2009

Life or Death?

The question plagues my mind

As memories run rampant

Showing me the shattered fragments

Of a forgotten time

They haunt my mind, body, and soul

Life or Death?

The question takes its toll

On the minds of Angels and Devils

For whom the tears roll

Life or Death?

I choose Life

Because in Death

Their may be no sadness

But their is strife
