What better way then to spend a nice warm day then to go on down to the lake, Lake Erie that is. Fishing, boating, swimming, skiing, picnicking, just hanging out, these are many of the things you can do on or near Lake Erie. Being Cleveland's best attraction, you will never be at a loss for things to do. Whether you like to actually be out on the lake, or you would rather stay on dry land and hang around the lake, its the best way to spend a nice hot summer day. Not only can you find things to do on the lake yourself, you can also find planned events that revolve around spring time out on Lake Erie. People come from all over the state of Ohio, or even from a variety of different states, just to vacation on or around the Lake to enjoy all its benefits.

~Take a look at Geneva on the Lake for example. Located in Geneva Ohio, its a very popular tourist attraction that brings people in from all over the place. You can visit wineries located on the Lake, as well as restaurants, miniature golf, and many other attractions to enjoy a nice long vacation. You are bound to always have something to do in Geneva on the Lake. Another great attraction that brings a ton of people every year is Cedar Point, located in Sandusky Ohio. One of the larger amusement parks in the United States, its located right on Lake Erie. You can ride roller coasters with a wonderful view of the lake. You can even access Cedar Point by boat if your looking for an adventurous weekend.

~Boating and fishing is the most popular way to spend a day at the Lake. Whether you belong to a yacht club or not, you can either take your boat down to the lake through one of our metroparks, or you can buy a ticket to board one of the popular boats that tour Lake Erie, there will always be a way to go out on the lake. You can go out on the lake for a tour, you can just go out riding in the boat for excitement or to even swim or ski, or even go tubing. Or you can go out on the boat just to do some fishing. Either way just being out on a boat looking at the city is an unforgettable adventure that you will soon want to relive. some may go out on their boat a few times a week, others may only get to do it once or twice in their lifetime. But to someone coming from another state, our lake may look like an ocean to them with all kinds of exciting adventures that lie ahead.

No matter the activity you have in mind, you are bound to find an adventure that you will remember for the rest of your life right on our famous Lake Erie. Whether you are in Cleveland, Sandusky, Geneva or even Erie PA, or Buffalo, there are a wide range of activities and adventures to be had on good ol Lake Erie.
