Poetry: Remembering love

YOUR LIPS

I will not forget the softness of your Lips

the way you kissed me like no other could.

I will not forget their fullness which enveloped me

I could attach mine and hang on forever.

I will not forget the pure passion of your kiss

your strong gentle arms encompassing me.

You have been at Rest now 25 years

and I will still not forget your Lips.

I miss you, my love, my darling husband

I will not forget your Lips.
