Men who want to be attractive to women, need to recognize how women feel about men, in general. Women are attracted to men who are not afraid to just be themselves. A confident man is an attractive one. Most women are still attracted to men who have good manners. They still enjoy having a door held open for them. They want a man who has good, inner qualities.
Women are attracted to men who do not feel they have to "prove" themselves. Arrogance is a big turn-off. Women do not look for men who are constant braggers, or talk about their careers so much its as if they were their future brides.
A man, clean in appearance, who keeps himself in reasonably good physical shape and can readily smile is much more attractive to a woman than a man who is extremely handsome and has no real substance underneath his handsome veneer.
If you want to attract a woman, you must be honest, reasonable, not a heavy drinker and be a good listener. Women do not expect men to have all the answers, sometimes she only needs a hearing ear and an acknowledgment that she is heard and understood.
In general, most women like a man who is family-oriented. He is not such a sports enthusiast that he can't be torn away from a game if something important comes up.
There is an old saying, "a man never stands so tall, as when he stoops to help a child." In other words, he is kind, thoughtful, is not afraid to show humility and can readily apologize for his mistakes. He does not make reasonable promises and then does not keep them. He is a man who is called "trustworthy" by his family, friends, co-workers.
A strong man is a gentle man. He thinks before he speaks, he has insights into situations and avoids trouble and does not pursue it to prove "I am a man". He can carry on a good conversation and likes to talk about a lot of different things.
A woman is attracted to a man who is willing to learn new things, try new ideas and does not hesitate to listen to suggestions from others and give thought to what they are saying. Of course, he makes his own decisions, but not before taking into account all the possible scenarios that might stem from those decisions.
To be attractive to women, a man must be generous, not just about money, but with his time and energies. He is able to enjoy a good sense of humor and can even laugh at his own minor mistakes. He is patient with others and himself. He never expects perfection because he knows he cannot give it.
To sum it up, not that much is required of a man to be attractive to women. Inner qualities, like honesty, loyalty, trustworthiness and confidence in himself, are what's most attractive any day.
If he is handsome, that is fine too. However, if that is all he has going for him, if he stops being self-centered and incorporates the lasting qualities women really need in a man, he too can become good at heart. Because a good-hearted man, in every respect, is what is attractive to women most of all.
