Sex is not necessary in every relationship. But a healthy sex life can often strengthen a healthy relationship. Similarly, if you sex life suffers, you relationship is likely to suffer with it. All too often people get sick of sex, even when they are enjoying it and enjoying their relationship. Here are ten things that may make you sick of sex and ways to get past them and move on with your sex life.

You or your partner are pregnant

Women usually experience unexpected pain and fatigue while pregnant. Men are often dismayed by the sudden weight gain in their partners. Romance can suffer greatly in this situation. But, pregnancy last for nine months and that is far too long for you to avoid sexual relations if you wish to maintain a healthy relationship with your partner.

For the first couple months, the best approach is for you to maintain normal, but gentle, sexual intercourse. With a little care, it is no danger to the child and is good exercise for an expecting mother. When sex becomes impossible around the third term, you should explore alternate erotic activities. Massages, especially, will be appreciated at this time due to the extra strain that babies put on an expecting mother's back.

You or your partner just had a child

As every woman who has ever carried a child knows, it is difficult to feel amorous when your vagina has just been stretched and possibly torn and your breasts are sore and heavy. These factors can make sexual activity an arduous task. The best way for you to maintain physical affection at this time is through erotic activity that does not include the breasts or vagina.

Your sex play should focus on the face and limbs. Soft kisses and tender caresses can easily be as stimulating as sex, and even if it doesn't create the same thrill, it is important to make the effort. There is a lot of stress during the first few months after a child is born and erotic stimulation can help you relieve that stress and strengthen your relationship at the same time.

Work is interfering

Everyone needs to work to earn a living. But, work can interfere with your sex life in a number of different ways. If you are working heavy hours, you may simply be too tired to have sex. If you and your partner are working conflicting hours, you simply may not be seeing each other enough to have sex.
