Please remember that I love you
the old man said to his wife
As he watched her slowly fade
and take her exit from this life
Please remember all the moments
that we shared over the years
We always were such good friends
through the laughter and the tears
Please remember all our children
who have grown to make us proud
We loved them and we raised them well
so they always ran with the right crowd
Please remember your grandchildren
who will miss growing up with you
I know you'll keep watch over them
and they'll feel your love so true
Please remember me in Heaven
for I shall never forget you, my dear
Ask God to grant His blessings on me
and with His love, wipe away my every tear

I knew at first glace,
That I loved you.
I
