Being complete as a man without a woman

As a man, I don't really feel incomplete without a woman. The notion that everyone has to be with someone is truly false. Just because I don't have a girlfriend, does not mean that my life isn't complete. I have plenty of things in my life that make me complete, and I feel like I live a very complete life. Being single isn' the end of the world, and being a single guy has a lot of perks too it. In fact, I prefer to be single as opposed to in a relationship, or at least most of the time I do.

I have many things that make my life pretty complete, and keep me pretty busy. I have my job, my writing projects, and of course my outside interests. I try to write at least a few articles every day, and it helps to advance my career. I think that at the age of 24 that advancing your career is the goal of anyone, and having a girlfriend is nice, but you need to get yourself straight first. There is nothing wrong with making sure that you can offer something to a girl that you might meet, and not just be some bum who barely scrapes by.

I have a lot of friends, and there is always something to do. There is always someplace to grab a drink, and watch a game. There is always Guitar Hero to keep me busy, and other video games as well. If I didn't have Madden I might be a little upset, but since I do, I am happy. I can just play a few games of Madden, or rock out to a few songs, and I don't even realize that I am single. Its as if I still have a life, and I don't have a girl around. What could be better than that? Besides, I had so much trouble playing video games when I had a girlfriend.

I have a job, and it keeps me pretty busy. I tend to work the nigh shifts, and so I don't have a lot of nights to hang out with girls anyway at this point. However, it isn't a big deal, because most people my age are working late nights anyway, so I might not have luck anyway. My job helps give me a sense of purpose, and it allows me to again take my mind off of being single. Besides, when I am work, I can't look at girls if I had a girlfriend, or at least not without feeling a little bit guilty.

There is always a game breaking out somewhere. I play basketball, or football, or whatever else people are playing. Its a good workout, and you just have fun playing sports with the guys. That was something that I missed having a girlfriend, and that was not being able to hang out because I would be with the girl instead. It wasn't that she controlled my life, but you have to make time for them when you can.

Being single isn't a bad thing. It gives me more time to focus on my life, and start getting ahead. When I am 30, and have a girl, and a house, I won't really be too worried that when I was 24 I didn't have a girlfriend. Having a girlfriend can be just as much of a hassle as it can be a good thing, and there are several positives to being single. There are so many things in life that can make you "complete" that it isn't even funny. Just do what you enjoy, and don't worry about finding a girl. Let her find you!
