Who drinks more Alcohol? Men

Men drink much more than women do. Men go to bars after work to wind down with a couple of beers, then a couple more, and even a couple more, they drink till they are staggering out the door. They can't drive home so they have to hail a taxi to take them home.

Men even drink on their lunch hour to make it through the rest of the day at work. They drink at meetings, that is if the boss allows them to have a drink or two. Some men even sneak their booze in to work and drink it while working.

There was a time when men and women drink about the same, but any more, Men drink more than women.

Men drink for happiness and become unhappy.

They drink for joy and become miserable.

They drink to be sociable and become argumentative.

They drink because they think it's sophisticated and then they become obnoxious.

They drink to make friends, and instead end up with enemies.

They drink so they can sleep, instead they become wide awake without any rest.

They think if they drink, it will give them strength, and then they feel weak.

They drink thinking it'll help for pain and acquired more health problems.

They drink to relax and end up with the shakes.

They drink for bravery and become afraid.

They drink for confidence and ended up doubtful.

They drink to make conversation easier for them and instead their speech becomes slurred.

They drink to become heavenly and ends up feeling like hell.

They drink to forget, and their memories end up haunting them.

They drink for freedom and become slaves.

They drink to forget their problems, but then they just multiply.

They cope to deal with life and invited death.

Men drank more than women- Where did it get them?

Did you know that alcohol is the third leading cause of death? Alcohol contributes to half our automobile accidents causing death.

When men drink they think it makes them the center of attention and the rest of the world revolves around them. At the same time having no confidence and living in fear.

Do you think they ever worry about how much they drink? No!

Do they ever worry about money problems while drinking? No, they want to forget them, the money problems are still there when they are through drinking and run out of money.

Family, Friends, and Coworkers just tolerate the drinker's drinking for so long, and at the loss of family, friends, and a job, they just drink even more.

Do you think they'll ever get the courage to change? Only if they really want to. They have to really hit bottom and want to change.

There are Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings, Hospitals, and clinics for those that really want to seek help. The Courage to change is a celebration to life- now wait a minute- Don't go drinking to celebrate. The question you need to ask yourself is, "Am I an alcoholic?" or "Do I have a drinking problem?"

If you think you have a problem with alcohol, you probably do. Everybody else knows that you do. Maybe you only drink two or three drinks, that doesn't make you an alcoholic.

An alcoholic is a person who is unable to control either the start of drinking or the amount consumed or both. How important is alcohol in your lifestyle? What do the people that are important to you in your life think about your drinking?

It is true, Men drink more than women. Do you want to quit? If you can't quit cold turkey, go to the phone book and look for A.A. or Alcoholics Anonymous and call that number, they will offer help. Have faith! Have the Courage to Change. That's all it takes. Good luck!
