Increasing writing income is possible for writers who are already making money from their online writing activities, such as article writing, blogging, freelance writing and selling web content. Following a few tips can help new writers, and those who already have a writing income, to try some of the more lucrative ways to make money writing. 

[1] Be Productive

Writing and submitting an occasional article is not going to provide much income. Some paid-to-write sites offer upfront payments for writers of quality articles, in addition to residual income from page views. Adding many more articles each month is an effective way of increasing writing income at those sites.

Writers who rely on residual income from page views and shared advertising revenue will need to build up a good list of stock articles. This allows a passive income to continue adding up every day over weeks, months and years to come.

Writers with a blog can increase their own advertising income by posting plenty of regular content. Hundreds of posts on a single blog will be indexed by search engines so each one can appear in relevant search results. Each post should have a suitable title and tags containing keywords. Those keywords need also to appear more than once within the same post.

When a writer has a Google AdSense account there are good reasons to write more for sites that pay through the Google AdSense program as a way of increasing writing income.

Good SEO articles can be marketed at sites where web content is offered for sale. Some article sites accept only original pieces, to be sold with full rights, others allow previously published articles to be offered for non-exclusive use.
