God-less and Lost
God I seem to have lost you,
Somewhere along the way,
There was a time I felt connected,
Now I can't feel anything.
There's a God-Shaped hole,
A searching and restless soul,
Wandering, lost, scared, confused,
I need to have that connection back.
I don't know where to look for you,
I don't know how to find you,
Blindly searching in the darkness,
God I need you.
Those past memories of things gone wrong,
I didn't know you where there then,
I see you were there now,
God I am an empty shell of a human without you.
God I need your strength to make it through a day,
I need your armour to reflect the negative,
I need your humbleness and your grace,
But most of all, I need to feel your presence again.

It must have been a bitter pill to take
Knowing it controlled you
Every swallow more lethal than the last
What a hell on earth

She wanders, lost and reeling
In a place she once called home
She wonders why she's feeling
So unloved, so alone
She has a loving
"Broken and Lost"
Because sometimes
when the weather is just creeping right,
eyes stare without blink
inside old mind
Broken and lost with no where to turn
A victim of society, deceived by the norm
People all around me turn up their noses
