Secret Love
You once said you loved me, as a great friend,
I often wondered if it was, or could be more,
Such a tale of friendship and unrequited love may
Only have been once thought of on those lonely Yorkshire Moors.
Love is a fascinating creature,
It has the power to bind two hearts, two people,
It has the gracious ferocity to humble to most proud of men,
But unrequited love, that's different.
That is a love that knows boundaries,
Limits that should never be crossed,
It can make the honest man crooked and the strongest soul weak,
This is most undesirable.
The love that is pure can do anything,
It can open the mind and soul to things anew,
Broaden the horizon of dreams,
This is God's immortal heaven.
Love's true friendship lets two
people share almost everything,
A laugh, a cry, a smile and a frown,
That is what is missing in this world so badly.
As you'd said you loved me as a great friend,
But your beauty captivates me, your personality inspires me,
It would be easy for anyone to see why my love's boundaries
For you are set further than most friendships.
I did often wonder why,
God only let you love me as you do and no further,
Maybe that's a question only you can answer,
It just always felt like there could be more.
I'm sorry that I feel how I do,
I didn't choose life's path inter-twined with yours,
But I am so grateful for you that I couldn't tell you what I thought,
Love's true friendship is as fragile as the heart.

Comfortable Silence
As far back as we go,
Nobody will ever know
The closeness that we share,
The distance our rivers flow.
As
Friendship is a Garden
Friendship is a garden
that blooms within the heart.
Its soil is rich and fertile
with love's presence

FRIENDSHIP
Talking and laughing,
rememberin g the good old times.
Telling old stories,
yours and mine.
Singing and dancing
letting
In your life you meet very few
Friends who are always there for you
Who make you laugh when you want to cry
Who no matter what

" A FRIEND "
Who's that certain person
That lends an open ear
Who lets you speak your mind
With nothing to fear...
Who can you
