The dreams. The goals
Are now nothing more than holes
In the cloak of life.
A mother and a wife
Filled with hope and aspiration
For being more. Now, realization
That disappointment is simply a figment
Or no more than a remnant
Of a dream. Incomplete.
In the heat
Of the moment I realize
That before my eyes
Lay the biggest gift of all.
Tearing down the wall
That separated me from "Me."
I truly see.
There is no disappointment.
Only the life journey designed for me. Sent
By the Artist of Life.
Customized.
Perfect. Just as it should be.
For Me.
