Everyone enjoys something special for their birthday especially when special something is free of charge. Many restaurants are more than willing to help your loved one celebrate their special day. Many such facilities will publicize the birthday honors, if however you are attending a facility that is not do this, is still possible to find out what type of things are offered for birthday celebration's. It is best however to do this before going to the restaurant by calling ahead of time to make your question less obvious to the person celebrating their special occasion. Nothing is worse than being in public and having someone play up the fact that it is your birthday only to have the serving staff jump into action like trained monkeys.

If you do not have the ability to call ahead, another option is to mistakenly leave something important such as your keys or wallet in your vehicle so you can ask the serving staff what is done for the birthdays without the person celebrating being present. If you're going to do this however you should be sure that the person going out to your car will not be offended by being asked to do so. The other option is to check corporate Web sites to see if such information is provided upon the website or if there is some contact email for customer information. Some restaurants require advance notification of birthday celebration's so that they can verify the information. After all, what is to stop persons from claiming that every day is their birthday in a different locations. Certainly this is not a normal practice, but in the current economy, many people are willing to do anything necessary to get free food or other such products like discounts off of the bill.

Other small businesses such as electronic games retail outlets and sometimes sports collectible shops that are run as small businesses will offer other such deals. Asking ahead is never something that you will regret doing. Keep in mind however that sometimes people do not want to be made a public spectacle of an only share these free birthday surprises with people who are willing to play along. Many people do not want the entire restaurant singing happy birthday especially if they are a few years past their ideal age. Be sure to help your loved ones celebrate their birthdays in a way that is special and unique every year. After all, they are one-of-a-kind and should be celebrated every time that it is possible to do it.
