Learning the fine art of romance is actually quite easy, and despite what many people believe, romance does not have to be expensive. Nor does it have to be a difficult or time consuming task. Becoming a romantic man can involve nothing more than creatively using a little item that is known throughout the world as "thoughtfulness". By simply displaying and using techniques of thoughtfulness toward your love interest you can effectively create any number of romantic scenarios. Of course, being romantic does have other rewards, the wonderful rebound effect of romance is a beneficial side effect that both partners get to enjoy.
So just in case you are not too sure where to begin here are 50 ways to be a more romantic man:
1. Say "I love you" and say it often.
2. Hold her hand. Whether you are out for a walk, or just sitting on the couch watching t.v. together, take the time to reach out and hold her hand.
3. Kiss her good-bye when you are leaving the house, and kiss her again to say hello, when you come back home.
4. Purchase an apron, keep it handy in a kitchen drawer, and be sure to put it on at least twice a week when you do a few household chores. Dishes, dusting, sweeping the floor, cleaning the bathroom, or cooking supper, she'll appreciate any help that she can get around the house. Believe it, or not, helping out around the house is one of the most romantic things that you can do in a relationship.
5. If you have kids take them out and away, for the day, or afternoon. A tired stressed out wife is not going to feel as romantic toward you as a relaxed and well rested one will.
6. Bring home flowers. There is a reason why this is a tradition, giving flowers shows that you are thinking about her, and that you appreciate her.
7. Take her out on a date. It doesn't have to be expensive, it can simply be a coffee date at a local restaurant or park, but make sure that you do take her out.
8. Surprise her. Leave little love notes in strategic places for her to find. Even if it takes her days to stumble onto one, these notes are very romantic, and they serve to re-enforce the strength of your relationship bond.
9. Chivalry is important. Open doors for her and hold her coat to help her into it. Do those little extras that show off the gentleman in you.
