THOUGHTS SENT OF YOU
There is a fire going in the fireplace
To take off the night chill.
There is not a sound except for the rain
Beating against the glass upon the windowsill,
And the beating of our hearts.
It's peaceful, serene as two people ponder
The warm affection they have for each other.
They understand the meaning of the words
Not yet expressed.
They are not afraid or threatened by the silence,
No.they welcome it.
They are pondering the feelings
They have for one another.
They patiently await the moment when the silence
Will be broken
Prayerfully contemplating God's direction.
Passionately they begin to stir.
Playfully and yet tenderly they kiss each other goodnight.
Looking forward to viewing the original tapestry
Of their life with all the beautiful colors
Of woven moments that has God's signature.
