What do men look for in a woman? Most girls tend to believe that any chick with a nice body is going to be the one that we go after. However, this isn't true, and a girl with a good personality is just as attractive as a girl with a nice body. There are many other similar attributes that men look for in women that women look for in men. It isn't like men are this random species that doesn't have any rhyme or reason for why we pick a mate. Men might seem confusing, but hopefully this will put into perspective what a man looks for in a girl.

I have an equation that I use when determining whether or not a girl is going to be right for me. The equation is personality + looks = 10. If the number is below ten, then I won't take her, and if the number is ten or above, then I will take her. A quick amendment to that, is that if either number is lower than five, then she is disqualified. I don't want the 400 pound woman, nor do I want someone who is just into herself. The value of personality, and the value of looks can go from a one to a ten.

Basically that means that if a girl has looks nice when she approaches, she gets a high mark. However, if her personality isn't that great, then I won't take her. However, if she looks so-so, but she seems like a lot of fun, then I would give her a chance. All a guy wants out of a woman is to have a good time with her, and to be loved by her as well. Most men won't treat a woman like dirt, and we don't want to be used either.

A man who is seriously looking for a relationship will want someone who is compatible. That means a certain level of maturity, and a sense of what she wants to do in the future, or has a plan for herself. It doesn't matter what that plan is, as long as it is a solid one, and will contribute something to the relationship if it goes the distance. However, a man does not want someone who is going to nag him, and try to keep him away from living his life.

Women like to be independent, and don't want guys telling them what to do, and a guy doesn't want that either. A man wants his girl to trust him, and allow him to live his life. If he wanted someone to check up on him, he would just date his mother, and no guy wants that. A guy wants someone who is confident in herself, and isn't so insecure that she has to be calling him every day. However, a guy doesn't want someone who will ignore him, and make him feel like he isn't a part of her life. It is a delicate balance.

A man will give almost any type of girl a chance. As long as she treats him right, and they get along, then she will have a good shot at getting a good guy. If she is a nag, picky, or just too into herself, she will be dumped on a street corner in two seconds. All a guy wants is someone who will treat him right, not use him for his money, and is compatible. That's really all a guy wants.
