Poison. Brain impairment. Permanent painful damage to the nerves in tissues of the body known as neuropathy, regurgitation, vertigo, deadly, and powerful. These horrors are associated with alcohol use, abuse, and addiction. There is much more than just these alcohol related consequences. By the way, damage to nerves caused by alcoholic neuropathy is usually permanent.

Drug withdrawal bites. One can anticipate anything at all might happen while in withdrawal. It hinges upon how much ones body is used to getting dosed with alcohol. If additional drugs have been used besides alcohol, then this is going to make a difference as well. It depends upon the progression of the disease of addiction and the level of the tolerance.

Likewise, ones size matters also. The more weight, the more one can tolerate, usually. How long has one been using alcohol? This too, will make a difference in the way in which alcohol will impact ones drug withdrawal.

One person may get shakes, and that is it. In comparison, a different individual could withdrawal another way and end up with cramps, nausea, headache, shakes, heart palpitations sweating, disgorging, indigestion, panic attacks, and nausea from aromas. No two addicts are the same, but there are a few main symptoms that most people in withdrawal experience, such as the ones mentioned in these paragraphs. Additionally, panic,. fear, shame, depression, suicidal thoughts or acting out with it, confusion, and more can be part of a drug withdrawal. Panic attacks can be the worst attacks one could ever have. Panic of suffocation and heart palpitations can make one feel as if impending doom is bringing on death.

What a bummer. One thinks that using drugs will make life better. Dont be fooled. Dont listen to that monkey on ones back. Once one has been bitten with addiction, that drug and that thinking becomes ones directions. With the onset of withdrawal the body does start to crave more alcohol to feel better. Taking another dose of booze or whatever will keep the pain of using at bay. So continues the cycle unless one steps out and admits that he cannot stop by any will of his own.

Indeed, alcohol is a drug, the worst one on the anatomy. One can get what is called DTs, or delirium tremors. This is usually within 3 to 5 days of detoxification. They can bring about strokes, heart attacks, grand Mal seizures, extreme cardiovascular disturbances, and hallucinations can come in to play. This medical condition can kill. It is treatable medically, but there is no cure for these symptoms of withdrawal.

In conclusion, alcohol cannot be taken lightly because it can be bought in a store. Alcohol will do grievous harm, especially if one uses it for some time. It becomes a family dis-ease too. If one wants help, there is help available every day of the week somewhere. Do it not for anyone else, just do it for oneself.
