Phone Area Codes to avoid dialing.

Tressa was checking her E-mails one evening not too long ago, she came across one E-mail that was sent to her from her daughter. Her daughter wanted to warn her about a few Phone area codes to avoid dialing.

So Tressa started forwarding this information to all that was on her contact list.

She also thought it would be good to share it with the Helium Staff and it's readers.

Here are the numbers that you need to avoid dialing if you get a message asking you to call them. They are 809 - 284 -876 Do Not Dial these Area Codes.

If you call these area codes, you will be charged $2425.00 per minute.

If you call it, there is a long automated message for you to listen to. They want to keep you on the phone as long as they can, and at $2425.00 a minute, can you imagine your phone bill?

It can't be stressed enough- Please do not Dial these Phone area Codes: 809 - 284 - 876. Hopefully they don't catch on and put the long automated message on your answering machine or phone mailbox.

It's believed that the phone company will take it off your bill if this ever should happen to you. Tressa has had a phone number added to her bill which they charged her for some sort of service which costs $20.00. That was $20.00 more than her bill should have been, the phone company took the number and service off her phone bill.

This message was sent to a lot of people from an AT&T Field Service Manager named Sandi Van Handel (940) 687-9040

She informs everyone this is very important information provided by AT&T. This is being distributed all over the United States.

It's pretty scary, especially the way that they get you to return the call. They will tell you that it is information about a family member being ill, or arrested, died, or to let you know that you won a wonderful prize.

In each case you are told to call this 809 number right away. Since there's so many new area codes these days, people unknowingly return these calls.

809 is located in the Dominican Republic. They are not regulated by the U.S. laws.

Pass this information along to your neighbors, friends and family. Help people.

Scams are the worst. It seems as though they don't have anything better to do with their time than to sit back and scam people. They wouldn't like it if it happened to them. There's a lot of Evil in this world.
