Created on: May 19, 2009

Louisiana is known as a cultural melting pot, famous for its art, music, and food. It is no wonder then that some of the world's most well known entertainers, writers, and artists have called the state of Louisiana home.

He developed his musical talent in the band at the New Orleans Home or Colored Waifs, where he was sent several times for delinquency.
