I'm sure that anyone who has put on a couple of extra pounds is in search of a quick, easy,and fun way to take the weight off. It's understandable that everyone doesn't have the time to join a gym, but that doesn't mean you should put it to the side.. Speaking from experience, I have applied all of these factors into my daily routine and managed to come up with a few ideas to get you going on a healthier wayof life as well.
The main ingredient to achieve your goal is WILL POWER and COMMITMENT. you owe yourself that much and have to set your mind to a positive state and decide that a change in your eating habits is what you desire. Make sure to always eat a healthy breakfast. In order to get your metabolism going you have to give it something to go on. It oinly makes sense that your body burns off the calories you intake. you shouldn't eat anything heavy from then till lunch time. A health shake or a fresh fruit should be fine if you feel some hunger before then. A sensible lunch may consist of a garnished salad, any grains, wheat, greens, meats, eggs, poultry, cheese, or just about anything in the basic food group. During the gap time after lunch and before dinner you can provide activities for yourself that can make up fot the time you don't have to exercise. for example, you can power walk around a park or do leg lifts while sitting on the couch. you can do arm rotations while sitting down watching t.v. Find an easy workout that best fits your daily lifestyle without having to strain or go outside of your normal routine. Keep a glass of water,orange juice or a fresh fruit near in case temptaion starts to get the best of you. The healthiest meal of thw day is breakfast but the best meal is dinner. Of course it being your last, you want to make it fulfilling. That of course is understandable for those who have had a long day at work or an exhausting day at home with the kids. Make sured to stay away from fried foods. They don't necessarily have to be exempt from your meals, just don't make it the main course every night. If you do decide to eat fried foods at least use vegetable oil to decrease the fat that your body is storing. Instead of fried potatoes, eat baked potatoes. Instead of plain old brocolli, add cheese to them. Rice is high in calories but you can consum a small portion of it to help satisfy the need for it. Beans are great in fiber. Stay away from white bread. A sandwich is just as tasty on toasted wheat or rye bread. Make yourself a three course meal including a vegetable, meat and a side. make vegetables or meat your larger portion. Sat away from sodas ,white bread excessive amounts of candy and junk food. Remain active after you intake any meal and do not lay down after any meal. Give your self a reasonable time to digest your food, and don't break under pressure.
I hope that you have taken notes on how to apply some of these healthier perspectives into your regular meals. I know from experience that it can be hard but I have faith that once your mind is set, you could do anything...Good Luck and most imortantly, Enjoy!
